Forever21 shirt/ H&M jeans/ Zara belt/ Aldo shoes

A lot may consider boyfriend jeans unflattering but I find it the other way around. It does show an understated appeal which I would always tend to go for.

This time, with a pair of nude heels for a feminine look! Casual as usual which is perfect for Fridays :)

Happy weekend!!!

Zara shirt/ Forever21 jeans & jacket/ Massimo Dutti shoes

I love animal faces when it comes to statement shirts. I think they look very playful and fierce. I combined it with grey and white pieces, along with my favorite shoes which are totally comfortable!  :)

Zara sweater / H&M skirt (old) / H&M flats

Loose sheer mint skirt combined with a basic sweater gives an easy yet stylish approach. I chose to pair it with flats as I normally do, and I really love the minty color, don't you? :)

Jo Malone's Wild Bluebell / Grapefruit / Lime Basil & Mandarin/  Nectarine Blossom & Honey / English Pear and Freesia
Penhaligon's Quercus

This post is dedicated to a not so obvious obsession with the aforementioned brand. What I love about Jo Malone is that they come up with exceptionally distinct and uncommon scents and a wide variety of notes to choose from. Basically, I'm attracted towards androgynous scents lately thus my top favorites from the bunch are Lime Basil, Grapefruit and Penhaligon's Quercus from another brand - having citrusy musky notes.  Nonetheless, I also hold on to my feminine side and this goes to the remaining fruity & floral ones. Cliche as it may sound but this exactly explains how I ended up dressing most of the day.

Don't get me wrong, each bottle was acquired from different years...and they are dearly adored, valued and loved! Right now, I'm eyeing Jo Malone's Nutmeg & Ginger. Looking for something spicy!

Do you also have some of these scents? xx

Forever 21 blazer (old)/ Giordano tee / Zara jeans / H&M flats

You know what it is...What is the comfiest outfit you have? :)

Zara blazer / Topshop sweater / Autograph (Marks & Spencer) skirt/ Converse shoes/ Swatch watch

The weather is acting up cold lately and it's a wonderful time to combine sweaters and cover ups. Came again is this sequined skirt which I adore and as I was grabbing stuffs, got to stop with my obsession for pointy shoes and opt for some casual sneakers instead.

   Forever21 denim/ H&M jeans/ Zara heels/ Cole Haan clutch/ Swatch Dreamnight watch

I just love everything about these shoes. Looking back at my previous post, this simple two toned color which happened to be in black and white is no question to any wardrobe, at least for me :) I styled it down with my trusty boyfriend jeans and yet again with a denim shirt, and a simple black clutch.

I hope you like it!

Mak's Noodle House
Din Tai Fung
Butao Ramen
Champagne Milk Tea - Tsui Wah Restaurant
Escargot - The Peak Lookout
Roast Goose - Yung Kee

Vintage coat/ Zara sweater/ Uniqlo pants/ Topshop shoes/ Ysl bag

More or less, these are the the last set of photos from my Hong Kong trip and I tried to limit them by choosing the best especially the food part...Yup!

But before that, my outfit consists of an oversized coat, plain white sweater, jeans and loafers..nothing extraordinary, just pure convenience...Unfortunately, I wasn't able to bring a scarf that kept me warm at The Peak! But the view was totally worth the watch. The IFC tower and Bank of China really stole the scene.

Ok, moving on..we all know that every street in Hong Kong offers good food! But I wanted to share some highlights in my opinion for the second time. We did a little research beforehand as well to maximize our stay.
 - Mak's Noodle House offers superb quality of fresh egg noodles and shrimp wontons. If you are looking for an authentic cantonese noodle place, this is worth a try!
-Of course, nothing offers the same truffle xiao long bao from Din Tai Fung!
- Butao Ramen: I thought this is just another ordinary ramen but their broth is sumptuously rich that my soon to be brother-in-law, being a non-ramen fan turned to be his favorite!
-Tsui Wah's famous champagne milk tea - too unique not to share and the best roast goose from Yung Kee!
- Lastly, ending the day with some little indulgence of escargot from The Peak Lookout, where my sister officially got engaged! :)

Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading!

Zara jacket/ H&M sweater (old) / Zara pants/ / Sperry Topsider shoes/ Ysl Bag

After the fair, we headed into the city of Mongkok just to have the best dimsum of the night! Finding Tim Ho Wan was easy but the long queue was not pleasant at all. Fortunately, a 45 minute wait was not bad! Can you believe that this little canteen vibe was awarded as the least expensive Michelin starred restaurant in the world?  - I do believe now! After trying their famous baked pork buns and ham suy kok (minced pork and mushroom wrapped in glutinous rice) especially being my favorite, I haven't tasted anything as close to this! The crumbliest bun and the softest glutinous rice wrap justified the award for me. Even their normal dimsums are quite impeccable that we ordered a total of 35 baskets just for 6 people! I will definitely go back even if I have to wait again!

Now that the feast is over, we just explored the famous night market. Love the busy vibe, every corner, alley and street is picture perfect! I'm wearing my favorite jacket, an old warm sweater, jeans and a comfortable sperry topsider shoes :)

Thanks for reading!
